Visteon Appoints New Corporate Officer
DEARBORN, Mich., Feb. 14 Visteon Corporation today announced the election of John Kill as a corporate officer.
As Vice President of Product Development for Visteon, Kill oversees the global design and development of customer driven safety-conscious products and processes for Visteon systems worldwide.
``John has made an exceptional contribution to the development of our product and systems architecture,'' said Michael Johnston, Visteon President and Chief Operating Officer. ``He has successfully restructured Visteon's product development organization and continues to improve our technological strength and leadership in the industry.''
Kill began his career with Ford Motor Company in 1971, and held various engineering and managerial positions in Business Planning, Design Quality, Product Engineering and Manufacturing activities of Ford's Diversified Products Operations and Powertrain Operations. Kill was Chief Engineer in the Climate Control Division, of what then became Visteon in 1997, and served as Visteon's European Operations Director until 1999. Prior to his current position, Kill was Operations Director for Visteon's Climate Control Division.
