SAE J2450 Translation Quality Metric Becomes SAE Recommended Practice
BINGHAM FARMS, Mich.--Feb. 14, 2002--J2450 Task Force chairperson and DTB President and CEO, Rick Woyde, announced that the J2450 Translation Quality Metric passed an SAE Recommended Practice vote.
J2450 is a quality metric to assist companies in measuring the translation quality of automotive service information. The task force is a subcommittee to the SAE E/E Diagnostic Systems Committee and includes participation from GM, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Volvo and their translation suppliers.
