Accelics Becomes First Major Corporate Sponsor Of DC GP

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 8, 2002 ­ National Grand Prix Holdings, LLC today
announced Accelics, Inc. as the first major corporate sponsor for the 2002
National Grand Prix auto race to be held in Washington in July.

Accelics, Inc., the leader in R&D Enterprise Management solutions for the
pharmaceutical and chemical industries, has signed a three-year sponsorship
agreement with the National Grand Prix. The Baltimore-based informatics
software company is inventor of the knowledge creation and management
solution ­ The REM System ­ that enables R&D organizations to Accelerate
InnovationSM.

"Accelics was looking for a partnership in 2002 that would further enhance
its speed, technology and innovation image and extend its reach into their

The National Grand Prix, which is coming to the grounds of RFK Stadium July
19-21, will feature races of four sanctioning bodies; American Le Mans
(ALMS), Trans-Am, Star Mazda and World Challenge GT. It will be the first
major autoracing event in the D.C. metropolitan area in more than 80 years.
The ALMS race will be televised live on NBC and CBS will air the Trans-Am
race. The corresponding three-day festival will feature a concert, car
shows, a celebrity match race and a record breaking motorcycle jump by
Robbie Knievel.

4th at the UMBC campus where race fans will have a chance to be photographed
with the Panoz racecar.

The American Le Mans Series (ALMS) was founded by entrepreneur Don Panoz in
1999 and is based on the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans; the world's most famous
endurance race. Many of the cars, drivers and manufacturers that compete in
the 24 Hours of Le Mans also take part in ALMS. Participating manufacturers
include Audi, BMW, Cadillac, Corvette, Dodge, Panoz, Porsche, Saleen and
Volkswagen.
