Vision Entertainment To Produce 2002 International Auto Salon

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. - SEMA, the Specialty Equipment Market Association,
has partnered with Vision Entertainment, creators of the popular Hot
Import Nights and Import Revolution events, to produce the 2002
International Auto Salon described as "the California version of the
Tokyo Auto Salon." The high-excitement compact performance automotive
show runs from Friday, April 19, through Sunday, April 21, at the Long
Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, Calif.

IAS 2002 will feature nearly 200 aftermarket companies exhibiting their
latest products for the compact performance market. More than 300
additional display vehicles are expected. Some of Tokyo's top tuner cars
and U.S.-based racecar drivers and their cars will be at the event
surrounded by music from today's hottest DJs. In addition, for the first
time in the history of the show, the companies exhibiting at IAS will be
selling the products they display.

Vision Entertainment will coordinate consumer attractions such as the
local and Tokyo show cars, sport compact car racer and model
appearances, and the 2002 IAS Car Competition, in which many of the
display cars will compete. The contest will award prizes for the
following categories: complete custom (wild category), tuned cars
(performance category), Dressed up cars (mild category) and Mini-van,
wagon & SUV class.

SEMA will coordinate a seminar program for the three-day weekend,
including topics ranging from how-to demonstrations for consumers to
business development seminars for professionals in the compact
performance marketplace.

IAS 2002 will open its exhibits exclusively to industry professionals on
Friday. The show will be open to both business and consumer show
attendees on Saturday and Sunday.
