Myers Industries Reschedules Release of Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year 2001 Results

    AKRON, Ohio--Feb. 7, 2002--Myers Industries, Inc. today announced that its fourth quarter and year-end earnings release and conference call, originally scheduled for Friday, February 8, 2002, is being rescheduled to Tuesday, February 19.
    The delay is caused by a system implementation problem at one of the Company's European operations.
