JDC MOTORSPORTS KNOWS THE INGREDIENTS FOR SUCCESS
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. (February 7, 2002) – When it comes to meeting customer
needs, John Church knows what is required to succeed.
For the past seven years Church has run a very successful sponsorship
management business. Specializing in hospitality and guest services his
company has worked extensively with teams in the CART FedEx Championship.
Church has built and maintained several partnerships vital to a successful
team, hence why he has gained a reputation as the man to have.
In 2002, Church returns to the Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship with his
JDC Motorsports team. Using the insights gained from the sponsorship
management business, combined with its impressive racing background, JDC
Motorsports is sure to be threat for the championship.
Formed in 1994, JDC Motorsports has been perennial competitor in Formula
2000 competition since its inception. The team has captured numerous SCCA
wins, pole positions, lap records and divisional championships. The
culmination of its SCCA competition was capturing the prestigious Valvoline
Runoffs National Championship in 1997. Last year, the JDC Motorsports
entered the Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship. Running a rookie driver,
Vanina Ickx, daughter of six-time Le Mans winner, Jacky Ickx, the team ran a
partial season. JDC Motorsports captured two top-10 finishes and showed a
particular affinity to damp conditions.
Currently the Minneapolis-based team is preparing its two-car effort, while
continuing its search for the next superstar of motorsports to contest the
2002 season.
