    AURORA, Ill.--Feb. 7, 2002--Positioned to be one of the strongest links in the manufacturing chain, 26-year old Valley Rivet Company's purchase has resulted in the formation of Valley Fastener Group LLC. An experienced group of investors including the Valley Management Team of Bill Jesse, Pres. & CEO; Hal Stetson, VP Sales & Marketing; Tim Bowers, CFO and Harold Stetson Sr., National Sales Manager acquired the company in January 2002. The three Valley Fastener Group manufacturing plants currently consist of the Valley Rivet Division, North Coast Rivet Division as well as the "cold-headed specials" division, Forgo Fasteners.
    Valley Fastener Group annually produces in excess of six billion rivets and cold-headed specials and continues to enjoy a reputation as a company that has built and maintained longstanding customer relationships by cost-effectively finding ways to help customers more efficiently assemble their products.
