Turbodyne Elects Chairman of the Board

CARPINTERIA, Calif., Feb. 6 Turbodyne Technologies Inc. announced yesterday that Manfred Hanno Janssen has been elected Chairman of its Board of Directors. Mr. Janssen joined Turbodyne's Board in November 2001.

Mr. Janssen has been for more than forty years an official of the investment-banking division of Deutsche Bank A.G.

Turbodyne's Board also set March 21, 2001 as the date for the company's annual general meeting of stockholders.

Turbodyne is a California-based high-technology company specializing in the development of air-enhancement devices, such as turbochargers and superchargers, for internal combustion engines. The company's headquarters is located in Carpinteria, California and its European office is located in Frankfurt, Germany.
