Grand-Am.com Offers Fans A Chance To Ask Rolex 24 Winner Kevin Doran Questions

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 6, 2002) -- Race fans now have the opportunity to ask questions to the winning team owner of the 40th anniversary of the Rolex 24 At Daytona. Kevin Doran will answer questions from fans submitted on Grand-Am.com, the official website of the Rolex Sports Car Series. Grand-Am.com will accept fans' questions to Doran through Monday, Feb. 11.

Last Sunday Doran joined an exclusive group of team owners. When his Doran Lista Racing #27 Judd-powered Dallara captured the checkered flag at the historic twice-around-the-clock race, he became one of only a handful of owners to ever accomplish the feat twice. Fredy Lienhard, Didier Theys, Mauro Baldi and Max Papis earned Doran his second overall victory as a team owner at last weekend's Rolex 24.

Theys and Baldi were also on Doran's 1998 winning team with Gianpiero Moretti and Arie Luyendyk. Doran also has two other 24 hour wins to his credit as the team manager of Al Holbert's Porsche team in 1986 and 1987.

Fans should submit their questions to Doran by logging onto Grand-Am.com. His answers to fans' questions will be made available on the website next week.
