Enhanced Information for Location Based Services to Wingcast Customers

    NEW YORK--Feb. 6, 2002--VoltDelta announced today that Wingcast, LLC has selected the company to provide access to its enhanced directory assistance platforms in support of Wingcast's telematics service offering.
    Wingcast, a company founded by Ford Motor Company and QUALCOMM to provide telematics services and applications, will begin offering its services later this year. Under the agreement, Wingcast will utilize VoltDelta's DirectoryExpress platform to provide customers real-time access to over 170 million business, residential and government listings and the iExpress platform to access business listings grouped by Yellow Pages business categories.
    Using VoltDelta's InfoExpress family of information solutions, Wingcast's customers will have access to the broadest range of directory assistance services available today. Customers will be able to find information about any business, residence or government listing, by accessing VoltDelta's database. The VoltDelta database, which is sourced through daily updates from telephone company sources and geocoded, will enable searches by name, telephone number, business yellow pages category (such as 'towing services'), and location. Using a combination of these search types, Wingcast customers will be able to narrow their searches to find, for example, all of the gas stations within a one-mile radius.
