Donnelly 'Sheds Light' on Safety and Convenience for Taurus Owners

HOLLAND, Mich., Feb. 6 -- Donnelly Corporation today announced that it has begun shipping exterior mirrors with Donnelly's exclusive Illuminator(TM) feature for Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable vehicles. The Illuminator(TM) is a module located at the bottom of the exterior mirror assembly that creates a lighted approach to the vehicle when activated by the key fob. The Taurus/Sable is the first mid-size vehicle to feature the award-winning Illuminator(TM) mirror, which was listed among the ``Best of What's New'' by the editors of Popular Science magazine. As part of the Luxury and Convenience Group, available for Taurus SES and SEL models, the mirrors also have a heating feature to help clear dew, ice and snow.
