Washington, D.C. City Council Member Harold Brazil Accepts First Ticket to
National Grand Prix of Washington, D.C.

Tickets Go On Sale Wednesday, February 6 at 10:00 a.m.

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 5, 2002 ­ During a press conference held today at
the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, the National Grand Prix officially kicked
off ticket sales when Chris Lencheski, founder and chairman of National
Grand Prix Holdings presented Harold Brazil, Washington, D.C. City Council
Member and Chairman of Economic Development, the first official ticket to
the July 2002 event.

Tickets for the event will officially go on sale to the public on February 6
at 10:00 a.m. Fans can call Ticketmaster at 202.432.SEAT (7328).

Ticket prices for the weekend are as follows*

FRIDAY, JULY 19
* General Admission - $20.00

SATURDAY, JULY 20
* General Admission Walkabout - $25.00
* Reserved Seating - $40.00

SUNDAY, JULY 21
* General Admission Walkabout - $35.00
* Reserved Seating Rows 1-5 - $65.00
* Reserved Seating Rows 6 & Up - $85.00

PIT / PADDOCK PASSES (Garage Area)
* $10 per day, $25 for three day pass ­ must be accompanied by a reserved or
general admission ticket

SUPERPASS - $150.00
Includes reserved grandstand seating all three days and three day
Pit/Paddock passes

"This wide range of ticket options will offer something for everyone ­ from
the excitement and roar of engines in the Pit, to the comfort of grandstand
seating," said Shawn Hackman, general manager, National Grand Prix. "This
will be an ideal venue for spectators with 40,000 fixed seats and room and
access for many more fans."

The National Grand Prix, which is coming to the grounds of RFK Stadium July
19-21, will feature races of four sanctioning bodies; American Le Mans
(ALMS), Trans-Am, World Challenge and Star Mazda. It will be the first major
auto-racing event in the D.C. metropolitan area in more than 80 years. The
ALMS race will be televised live on NBC and CBS will air the Trans-Am race.
The corresponding three-day festival will feature a concert, world-record
breaking jump by Robbie Knievel, Lifestyle Expo and a celebrity match race.

* PARKING:  NO PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON SITE AT RFK , a result of the event
being held in the stadium parking lots.  Satellite parking areas are being
established and will provide shuttle service to the stadium grounds.
* An alternative to Satellite Parking is the Washington Metropolitan Area
Transit Authority MetroRail.  The Stadium/Armory station is on-site for your
convenience.   The Orange and Blue lines service the Stadium/Armory station.
