Catalytic Solutions Inc. Earns General Motors Contract; The World's Largest Automobile Manufacturer Will Begin to Use Catalytic Solutions' Advanced Catalyst Coating Technology

    OXNARD, Calif.--Feb. 6, 2002--Catalytic Solutions Inc. (CSI) announced today it has been selected by General Motors to supply catalysts for a future vehicle program.
    Catalytic Solutions has developed the advanced catalytic coating technology, Mixed Phase Catalyst (MPC(TM)), which meets increasingly stringent emission standards while enabling dramatic cost reductions by utilizing 50-80% less precious metals than conventional catalytic coating technology.

Over the next eighteen months CSI will be commissioning additional state-of-the-art mass production, analytical, and quality systems in its manufacturing facilities to meet the future requirements of GM and other customers.
