CAPE ANNOUNCES DRIVER LINE UP FOR 2002

ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. (February 4, 2002) – Cape Motorsports today announced
their driver line up for the 2002 Formula Ford 2000 Zetec Championship.

Driving the No. 2 Winchester Van Diemen Ford will be Jeffrey Jones. Jones,
of Sarasota, Fla., competed in the competitive British Formula Three
Championship in 2001. Piloting the No. 3 Van Diemen Ford will be Bryan
Sellers. Sellers, of Centerville, Ohio, was recently awarded the Team USA
scholarship and contested the New Zealand International Formula Ford
Championship. Driving the No. 4 Van Diemen Ford will be Ricardo Imery.
Imery, of Caracas, Venezuela, won the SCCA Southeast Championship in Formula
Continental in 2001. Completing the team in 2002 is Lawsen Aschenbach.
Aschenbach, of Gaithersburg, Md., will drive the No. 5 Forsythe Van Diemen
Ford, after competing in Formula Ford in 2001. Dominic and Nicholas Cape
believe this is the strongest line up they have ever had on their quest to
take back the Championship, in what will be the most competitive season to
date.

"With the new rules package and the introduction of the new Zetec motor the
emphasis is now back on the driver’s skill where it belongs," said Dominic
Cape. "It gives a much more level playing field and has slashed budgets, we
are back down to $165,000 for a season and the drivers market has a much
wider base at that price. People do not have money these days and if you
want to survive you have to flow with the economy."

The team has restructured for the upcoming season and brought in some new
personnel. Brian Halahan will be the No. 1 mechanic on Jones’s car, while
Martin Nadeau will be the No. 1 mechanic on Sellers' machine. Caleb Stream
movers from P.D.R to Cape and becomes the No. 1 mechanic on Imery’s. Tommy
Ruotolo returns to the team as the No. 1 mechanic on Aschenbach’s car.

"We are all really pumped up here at Cape Motorsports and the season can’t
start soon enough," said Nicholas Cape. "It is going to be tough this year
with many teams having talented drivers. I just hope we are on the top of
the pile at the end. We have been just over two seconds quicker at every
test with the new motor package. We feel they will go the whole season
without a service, as they have been flawless thus far and we have 4500
miles on one and 1500 on another. It should have been done a long time ago.
The dynamics are very good with a lot of adjustability, we believe the whole
package is the right way to go for the future."
