FactoryWare Appoints EVP of Sales and Operations; Aaron Martin to Aid Enterprise Expansion of Award-Winning Software Company
EVANSTON, Ill.--Feb. 4, 2002--FactoryWare, Inc. announced today the appointment of Aaron Martin as executive vice president responsible for sales and operations. Mr. Martin comes to FactoryWare from Equidity, Inc., a financial services enterprise software company funded by such investors as New Enterprise Associates, FBR, Safeguard, and others. The company was sold to Sanchez Associates in 2001. As a co-founder of Equidity, Mr. Martin had extensive experience in enterprise software sales and strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies."FactoryPulse(TM), our award-winning, real-time productivity analysis system, is rapidly gaining market share and advanced functionality," said John Oskin, President of FactoryWare, Inc. Prior to co-founding Equidity, Mr. Martin was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and at the Thomas Group where he worked with both plant level and corporate manufacturing managers solving operational problems in quality and cycle time. He leveraged this line-level experience in developing pragmatic solutions to senior managers at Fortune 500 manufacturing companies. Aaron holds an MBA in finance from Wharton Business School.
