Infiniti Reports January Sales

GARDENA, Calif., Feb. 1 -- Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan North America, Inc. today reported January sales of 4,985 units.

Sales of Infiniti's I35 mid-size luxury sedan rose 6.7 percent versus January of last year with sales of 2,569 units. G20 also posted an increase of 17.1 percent versus last year with sales of 950 units.

Rounding out the lineup, Infiniti's flagship Q45 luxury performance sedan posted sales of 349 units while the QX4 luxury sport utility vehicle reported sales of 1,117 units.

Overall, the division reported a 5.9 percent decline versus January of last year.

Nissan North America, Inc.'s combined sales for January, including Nissan and Infiniti divisions, totaled 54,534 units, an increase of 8.0 percent versus last year.
