International Speedway Corporation Files Registration Statement for Secondary Equity Offering
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.--Jan. 24, 2002--International Speedway Corporation ("ISC") today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a secondary equity offering of 2,500,000 shares of its class A common stock.The shares will be sold by Penske Performance, Inc., a subsidiary of Penske Corporation which is controlled by Roger Penske, Vice Chairman of International Speedway Corporation's Board of Directors. The offering will also include an option for the underwriters to purchase an additional 375,000 shares from the selling shareholder to cover over-allotments, if any. The Company will receive no proceeds from this offering.
