A final evaluation at EADS in connection with the formation of Airbus SAS has resulted in an increase to the positive one-time effects at DaimlerChrysler from EUR 646 mill. to EUR 747 mill.

As a result of this adjustment previously reported results including one-time effects for the 3rd quarter as well as for the first nine months of 2001 have been revised. Operating Profit excluding one-time effects is unchanged despite the final evaluation.
