Tomkins Appoints New Group Treasurer

    LONDON--Jan. 14, 2002--Tomkins PLC today announces the appointment of Paul Wilkinson as Group Treasurer, with effect from January 21, 2002. Paul, aged 41, is currently Director, Corporate Finance & Treasury at Enodis Plc.
    A graduate in Business Studies, Paul qualified as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. He moved into treasury in 1990 and has held various roles including Treasurer of The Maersk Company Limited (1990 to 1993), Treasury Manager of Tiphook Plc (1993 to 1994), Group Treasurer of First Choice Holidays Plc (1994 to 1996) and Group Treasurer of Charter Plc (1996 to 2000).
    Ken Lever, Finance Director of Tomkins PLC, said:
