Lenny Feldman, Former Senior Attorney With U.S. Customs, Now Associated With Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A.

    MIAMI--Jan. 11, 2002--SANDLER, TRAVIS & ROSENBERG, P.A. (ST&R), a leading international trade and customs law firm, announced that Mr. Lenny Feldman, a U.S. Customs' Senior Attorney from 1991 - 2000, has become Of Counsel to the firm. While at Customs, serving in the Penalties, Value and General Classification Branches, Mr. Feldman led U.S. and international delegations abroad to consult and train foreign customs and trade officials throughout South America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Mr. Feldman concentrates his practice in complex valuation, classification, origin and penalty issues as well as risk assessments and compliance management. His experience is sure to complement the team of value, classification and penalty experts already working in ST&R's International Trade & Customs Practice.
    From 2000-2001, Mr. Feldman served as the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President, International for a trade and logistics software development company where he was responsible for the company's global customs and international trade compliance practice for over 100 countries.
    Mr. Feldman is credited with numerous accomplishments and awards including the World Customs Organization Award for APEC Valuation Project and the Vice Presidential Hammer Award for Footwear Industry Informed Compliance Partnership. He served as Lead Staff Attorney for the NAFTA Task Force for Country of Origin Marking Rules, the Customs Port Enforcement Evaluation Implementation Team and the International Affairs Process Improvement Team.
    Mr. Feldman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University and his Juris Doctor from University of Florida.
