Digimarc ID Systems Names COO; Indra Paul to Oversee Operations of Digimarc ID Systems, The Leading Producer of U.S. Drivers Licenses

    TUALATIN, Ore.--Jan. 11, 2002--Digimarc ID Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Digimarc Corp. , announced today the appointment of Indra Paul as its chief operating officer.
    In this position, Paul will be responsible for Digimarc ID Systems' product development, systems integration, systems delivery, manufacturing, materials management, and system operations.
    Paul joined Digimarc Corp. in November 1999 and most recently served as vice president of sales for the company's digital watermarking products. Before joining Digimarc, he was executive vice president of operations at TV Guide Networks, a provider of electronic television program guides for the cable television industry. Prior to that, he served as vice president of engineering and operations at Vyvx, a provider of fiber optic transmission services for the broadcast television industry.
