Jimmy Burns Debuts new sponsor at Motorsports 2002 Show

Asbury, NJ and Quakertown, PA - Jimmy Burns and the Jimmy Burns Motorsports team will be showing off some exciting new colors for their appearance at this weekend's Motorsports 2002 Show at the Fort Washington EXPO Center in Ambler, PA. The vibrant new paint scheme features the logos of Montana West and The Horse Power Grille, a new country western club and race theme restaurant located in Quakertown. "We're very excited about having Montana West and The Horse Power Grille on board as one of our sponsors and are really looking forward to doing some great things with them this year. I feel very privileged to have so much support from them and the fans at The Horse Power Grille, they are a great group of people", said Burns this past week.

Burns will be running as a regular in the Hooter's ProCup Northern Division this year and hopes to make a serious bid for the Rookie of the Year honors. Burns ran in three ProCup Northern Division races in 2001 in an effort to prepare himself and his team for this season. After making a solid and steady debut, Burns and his team are ready and excited about the 2002 season. "Jimmy was just awesome last year and we had a heck of a good time", said team jackman Tony Pasquarello, Sr. of Pittston, PA who helps crew the car with his son Tony, Jr. "We just want to go out there and go racing. We can't wait."

Adding to the anticipation is the addition of Montana West and The Horse Power Grille as sponsors on the car. "We are really pumped about getting behind Jimmy and supporting him in his ProCup effort this year", said Montana West owner and CEO, John Giambrone. Montana West opened this past November and has quickly become the region's premier country western club. The Horse Power Grille, which is the restaurant side of the facility, opened a few weeks later and has become quite an attraction. In addition to the walls being covered with an unbelievable collection of hoods and photographs, a Richard Childress Goodwrench Silverado racetruck hangs inverted over the bar. Patrons can watch the races on a pair of huge giant screen TVs equipped with a 9000 watt Surround Sound audio system that makes you feel like you are right in the middle of the race. All this is making The Horse Power Grille the place for race fans to visit in the north as word spreads about the place.

"Jimmy is such a great guy and we're proud to be associated with him", said Giambrone, himself a long time racer. "Our patrons at The Horse Power Grille are already excited about supporting Jimmy and I don't think you'll find a more solid core of fans than these guys." In fact, Ray Anderson, who manages the marketing and promotions for the club, has already organized a bus trip that will be bringing a load of fans to the Northern Division's first event at Jennerstown. "We plan on letting everyone know that Jimmy has a great team and a great group of fans behind him", said Anderson of their efforts.

Jimmy's 2002 Monte Carlo will be on display in the USAR ProCup booth all weekend at the Motorsports 2002 show and Burns will be present with members of his team to greet fans of his team and USAR's ProCup.

The show will be open to the public Friday, Jan 11, 2002 from 1PM to 10PM; Saturday, Jan 12, 2002 from 11AM to 10PM, and on Sunday, Jan 13, 2002 from 11AM to 6PM. Show information can be obtained at www.aarn.com.
