ABRA Auto Body & Glass Names Ron Kuehn Sr. Vice President of Training & Education

    MINNEAPOLIS--Jan. 8, 2002--ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced today that Ron Kuehn has been named Senior Vice President of Training and Education. Kuehn will develop and execute the ABRA training and education strategy, oversee the company's continuous improvement and quality programs, and direct ABRA's technician apprenticeship program.
    Kuehn was most recently Director of Business Development for Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. Within that role he directed Sherwin-Williams' training department, the collision repair design services, the shop consulting department, and the development and refinement of production operations for North American collision repair organizations.
    Prior to that Kuehn was Pacific Regional Manager and Business Development Manager for I-CAR, where he successfully led the emergence of the I-CAR Gold Class Professional program while running I-CAR's fifteen western states, as well as introducing the welding qualification test to the collision repair industry.
    When asked of his decision to join ABRA, Kuehn responded: "I've been working with ABRA's executive team and market vice-presidents over the past several years, and I admire the company's culture, work ethic, and the long-term objectives of the company. ABRA is well positioned to continue their lead in the collision repair industry, and I look forward to being an integral part of the management team as the company moves forward."

    Ron and Dana, his wife of twenty-two years, have two children, and will be re-locating to the Minneapolis area from Hudson, Ohio.

Started with one repair center in 1984, they have grown to sixty-eight facilities in ten states.
