Motorists Mutual Insurance Company Extends 18-Year Relationship With ADP Claims Services Group, Signs Three-Year Renewal
SAN RAMON, Calif.--Jan. 8, 2002--Motorists Mutual Insurance Company (Motorists), a Columbus, Ohio-based insurer that sells individual and commercial property and casualty insurance, has signed a three-year renewal agreement with ADP(R) Claims Services Group for continued use of ADP's highly acclaimed suite of products and services that improve efficiency with processing automotive insurance claims. The new agreement extends the 18-year relationship between Motorists and ADP, which began with Motorists' use of the industry's first automated estimating system from ADP and has progressed over the years to include a wide range of leading-edge claims solutions such as PenPro(TM), ADP's mobile estimating system for automotive insurance claims.
"We have enjoyed a successful relationship with ADP since 1983 and are very pleased with their continuing commitment to improved workflow technology backed by ADP's dedication to World Class Service," said Karen Schwartz, vice president of claims at Motorists. "In particular, we are very positive about the use of ADP's wireless services, as well as Passport(TM), their claims auditing application."
According to Schwartz, Motorists' goal is to reduce the claims cycle by sending vehicle damage estimates and total losses from the vehicle inspection point to the claims representative so that the settlement process can begin. ADP's comprehensive suite of products have been integrated for Motorists to make that goal attainable.
"The renewal of this agreement with Motorists is a tremendous vote of confidence in the value of our products and in the way that we have seamlessly integrated our technologies for the benefit of our clients," said Gary Nixon, senior vice president of ADP's automotive claims services. "We look forward to the continuation of a long-term partnership with this esteemed insurance company, which has been successful in its region for more than 70 years, as we work together to improve the efficiency of their claims operations."
ADP Claims Services Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Automatic Data Processing, Inc. , is a leading provider of integrated business solutions for clients in the property and casualty, general health, collision repair and automotive recycling industries.
