Hilb, Rogal and Hamilton Company Extends Its Reach in Texas With Acquisition of McKane Morgan and Associates, Inc.

    RICHMOND, Va.--Jan. 7, 2002--Hilb, Rogal and Hamilton Company (HRH) announced today that it has acquired substantially all of the operating assets of McKane Morgan and Associates, Inc. (McKane Morgan), a specialty insurance agency in San Antonio, Texas.
    Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
    With revenues in excess of $3 million, McKane Morgan is the largest independent automobile dealer insurance specialist in the state of Texas and one of the largest in the country. The skilled professionals of McKane Morgan will continue serving clients from their four existing Texas locations under the leadership of William T. Bach, President, and E.R. (Randy) McKane, Senior Vice President, and the direction of William L. Chaufty, HRH's Central Regional Director.
    Timothy J.
