AmeriCredit to Webcast Analyst Conference Call On Second Quarter Operating Results

    FORT WORTH, Texas--Jan. 4, 2002--AMERICREDIT CORP. will release its second quarter 2002 operating results on January 10, 2002 after stock market close.
    Clifton H. Morris, Jr., Executive Chairman of the Board; Michael R. Barrington, Vice Chairman, CEO & President; and Daniel E. Berce, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer, will host an analyst conference call on January 11 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time to discuss AmeriCredit's operating results for the period.
