Planet Earth Motorsports will return to the Grand Am Cup Grand Sports

Starting Driver for the #43 Orison Marketing L.L.C. Corvette will be Team Owner - Joe Nonnamaker. Joe returns for his third year of driving in the team’s Corvette. For his career, Joe has eleven professional victories.

Finishing Driver in the 43 Corvette will be long-time Sports Car standout Shane Lewis. Shane is no stranger to the Orison Marketing - Planet Earth Motorsports team. He has driven four times before with a best finish of 1st place at the 1996 Daytona event.

ORISON MARKETING L.L.C. will increase its involvement in 2001 to become the Presenter of Planet Earth Motorsports. Established in 1997, Orison Marketing, L.L.C. specializes in advanced environmental products and custom "green programs". Environmental products for the automotive industry include: Miracle Sweep - for those nasty spills, and Evapo Rust -for rusted parts that would have otherwise been thrown away.

GOJO and USFilter will continue as partners in spreading Planet Earth Motorsports’ Environmental Message. 10% of the #43 Corvette Z06’s prize winnings will be donated to a local environmental organization at each event. Since 1996, over $5,000 has been donated through Planet Earth Motorsports on-track results.

Crew Chief for the Corvette will be Mike Thomas - TheRaceSite.com - Grand Am Cup Compact Crew Chief of the year. The 2002 season marks Mike’s ninth season with the team. Team co-founder Bill Pate will assume the role of Team Manager for Orison Marketing - Planet Earth Motorsports.
