Auburn Hills, 12/21/2001 - A rebound in the new year is predicted by DaimlerChrysler Chairman Jürgen Schrempp. He says 2002 will be challenging for the global economy, but he believes DaimlerChrysler earnings worldwide will be significantly higher in 2002 than they were this year. Schrempp said the Chrysler Group was the first to be hit by economic difficulties and it will be the first to recover.
