Unique New Infiniti Auto Show Exhibit

GARDENA, Calif. Ifiniti is poised to roll out an array of exciting new hardware at the upcoming North American International Auto Show (January 6 - 21, 2002) - and not just the four-wheeled variety.

Beyond the debut of its all-new G35 sport sedan and FX 45 Concept vehicle, Infiniti also will unveil in Detroit a dramatic new exhibit space that embodies the essence of the brand via distinctive "branded architecture."

"Infiniti's all-new auto show display truly establishes that our products deliver on our brand promise of accelerating the future," said Vince Joy, planner, Shows and Exhibits, Infiniti Marketing. "It's a very comfortable and attractive environment that exemplifies the attributes of our brand - innovative products, leading-edge technology and performance driven."

The all-new auto show property clearly positions Infiniti as a leading luxury brand. Developed as a joint effort between Nissan Design and the George P. Johnson Company, the display further defines the brand's new identity as portrayed in current Infiniti print and television advertising through the use of luxurious visual elements and branded architecture.

This imagery is exemplified through the integrated use of materials appearing in both the interiors of Infiniti products and in the advertising settings. These elements are featured throughout the display in a variety of elegant forms, including dramatic sanded aluminum wall panels, as well as textured concrete flooring with bird's eye maple accents similar to those used in Infiniti's flagship Q45 luxury performance sedan.

The Infiniti display is further defined by a visually captivating 188-foot long by 21-foot high fully illuminated back wall, which provides a breathtaking backdrop to Infiniti's family of products. True to Infiniti's roots, state-of-the-art technology is seamlessly integrated into the display walls in the form of a high-definition, 20-foot long LED video screen. In addition, interactive wheel stands throughout the display will allow visitors to view product images and information on current and future vehicles.

At the North American International Auto Show, the relationship between Infiniti and its sister division, Nissan, will be accentuated through a contiguous Nissan Corporate display space that positions the new exhibits in a back-to-back layout. This arrangement emphasizes the individuality of each brand while demonstrating the natural linkage between the two. Infiniti is supported by a network of approximately 150 retailers throughout North America and offers a range of luxury vehicles including the Infiniti QX4 luxury Sport Utility Vehicle, G20 sports sedan, I35 luxury sedan, and flagship Q45 luxury performance sedan.
