Textron Completes Sale of Automotive Trim Unit to Collins & Aikman

    PROVIDENCE, R.I.--Dec. 20, 2001--Textron Inc. today announced that it has completed the sale of its Automotive Trim business, consistent with terms previously announced on December 3, 2001, to Collins & Aikman Products Company, a subsidiary of Collins & Aikman Corporation .
