AutoZone Announces Sale of Truckpro

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Dec. 19 -- AutoZone, Inc., the nation's largest auto parts retailer, today announced it has sold the business of TruckPro, its heavy-duty truck parts subsidiary, to a group of investors led by Paratus Capital Management of Boston and New York.

``We made a decision to sell TruckPro earlier this year primarily to allow us to focus on our core business. They have a good team in place and everyone at AutoZone wishes them continued success,'' said Steve Odland, Chairman, President and CEO of AutoZone.
