New HUMMER Dealer Appointed in Buffalo - HUMMER of Buffalo

Buffalo, NY -The world's premiere off-road vehicle, the HUMMER H1, is now on sale and available at the newly appointed HUMMER of Buffalo in Williamsville, NY.

General Motors and AM General awarded a new HUMMER franchise to Steve Cappellino to establish HUMMER of Buffalo in September 2001.

Based on the military HUMVEE, the civilian HUMMER H1 has two distinct bodystyles, the 4-Door Wagon and 4-Door Soft-Top. Mid-year 2002, HUMMER will also launch the first sibling to the HUMMER H1, the all-new H2 SUV.

General Motors and AM General reached an agreement in December 1999 in which GM acquired exclusive ownership of the HUMMER brand name worldwide.
