New HUMMER Dealer Appointed in Massapequa - Sun HUMMER

Long Island, NY - The world's premiere off-road vehicle, the HUMMER H1, is now on sale and available at the newly appointed Sun HUMMER in Massapequa, NY.

General Motors and AM General awarded a new HUMMER franchise to Patrick Cassino to establish Sun HUMMER in October 2001.

"GM is proud to announce Sun HUMMER as the new dealership for HUMMER in Massapequa. HUMMER dealers represent an elite group whose commitment to customer service and sales performance is truly exceptional," said Steve Hill, HUMMER director of sales and service.

Based on the military HUMVEE, the civilian HUMMER H1 has two distinct bodystyles, the 4-Door Wagon and 4-Door Soft-Top. Mid-year 2002, HUMMER will also launch the first sibling to the HUMMER H1, the all-new H2 SUV.

General Motors and AM General reached an agreement in December 1999 in which GM acquired exclusive ownership of the HUMMER brand name worldwide.
