Digital Motorworks Joins Siebel Alliance Program, Announces Siebel Validation

AUSTIN, Texas--Dec. 17, 2001--Digital Motorworks (DMi), a leading provider of automotive information management solutions, has partnered with Siebel Systems, Inc. , the world's leading provider of eBusiness applications software, to deliver eBusiness software and service solutions for the automotive industry, Keith Jezek, president and CEO of DMi, announced today.
Jezek said, "DMi has joined the Siebel Alliance Program as a business partner and has integrated its InfoIQ(SM) system version 5 with Siebel eBusiness Applications version 6.3 for use within the automotive industry."
"The validated integration of DMi's InfoIQ(SM) with Siebel eAutomotive, Siebel Systems product designed specifically for the automotive industry, provides the auto industry with a wide range of integrated customer-centric, eBusiness solutions," Jezek added. "Joint solutions from Siebel Systems and DMi can be easily integrated into existing systems and will require very few changes in a customer's infrastructure or business processes."
Siebel Systems provides an integrated family of eBusiness applications software enabling multichannel sales, marketing, and customer service systems to be deployed over the Web, call centers, field, reseller channels, retail and dealer networks. The new DMi partnership with Siebel Systems will focus on developing additional solutions integrated with Siebel eAutomotive for vehicle manufacturers, distributors, and dealers. DMi and Siebel Systems already work with common automotive customers including Ford and General Motors.
"We are partnering with Siebel Systems to provide the automotive industry with innovative, industry-specific applications and the high quality information it needs," Jezek said. "Using our combined solutions, customers can convert disparate legacy systems with low-data integrity to consistent, high-value information sources.
"Our joint customers can then refine targeted marketing campaigns, streamline call center operations, and facilitate sales and service activities directly, over the Internet or through dealer networks. The result is an enhanced ability to satisfy end customers virtually anytime, anywhere, through any sales or service channel."
Siebel eAutomotive provides a closed loop marketing, sales, and service solution that ensures detailed customer knowledge is leveraged during every business process and customer interaction. Automotive Brand Owners and their Dealerships can work together in a coordinated and collaborative approach in meeting all customer requirements. DMi's InfoIQ(SM) collects, standardizes and enhances data from diverse automotive dealer management systems (DMS) which now can be delivered to Siebel eAutomotive for use in a variety of customer-centric initiatives.
"Quick access to accurate customer data is critical to successful customer-centric solutions in the automotive environment," said Kurt Olnhausen, General Manager of Siebel Automotive. "That is why we placed a high priority on establishing a partnership with DMi.
