GKN and Borg Warner Talking

Sacramento - Great Britain's GKN engineering group is reported to be in discussions with Borg Warner over an acquisition of the U.S.-based auto supplier. Reuters in London is reporting that GKN views Borg Warner as a good fit and could be willing to pay as much as $1.3 billion for the supplier of engine components, automatic transmission systems and four- wheel drive components.
