Fiat Makes Article 114 Announcement

    TURIN, Italy--Dec. 10, 2001--It is herewith announced that a Fiat S.p.A. Board of Directors Meeting has been convened for this afternoon to resolve on significant decisions regarding Article 114 of the Consolidated Law on Financial Intermediation.
    A press release will be disclosed this evening to inform on the resolutions adopted by the Board.
