Datamax Announces the Resignation of Marvin A. Davis as Chairman, CEO and President
ORLANDO, Fla.--Dec. 7, 2001--Today Marvin A. Davis resigned as Chairman, CEO and President of Datamax Corporation to pursue other interests. Mr. Davis will reenter the turn-around consulting area as President of the firm M.A. Davis and Associates. He will also be authoring a tape album and book on Turn-Arounds which will be published by Nightingale Conant Corporation in January of 2002.He will be succeeded as President by William Bouverie, who as Senior Vice President of Research and Development for Datamax, was instrumental in the design and development of the very popular I, E, W and S class series printers.
Datamax specializes in the design, manufacture, and marketing of products for bar code labeling including thermal demand printers, label, ticket and tag materials, and thermal transfer ribbons.
