S&P Asgns Prlm Rtg to CARCO Auto Loan Mstr Tr 2001-A
NEW YORK--Standard & Poor's--Dec. 6, 2001-- Standard & Poor's today assigned its preliminary triple-'A' rating to CARCO Auto Loan Master Trust's $1 billion floating-rate auto loan asset-backed certificates series 2001-A.The preliminary rating is based on information as of Dec. 6, 2001. Subsequent information may result in the assignment of a final rating that differs from the preliminary rating.
The preliminary rating reflects credit enhancement sufficient to withstand losses at the assigned rating levels; DaimlerChrysler Services' strong historical performance and servicing/underwriting capabilities; a sound legal structure; and the transaction structure, which includes amortization events that limit investor exposure to losses.
