Orlando Sanford Expands Service; Pan Am Begins Service With Baltimore-Washington International

    SANFORD, Fla.--Dec. 6, 2001--Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) now offers non-stop service to Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) on Pan American Airways. The service, which began Thursday, December 6, will operate daily except Tuesdays. With the addition of BWI, Pan Am now serves seven destinations from Orlando Sanford.
    The schedule will be as follows: BWI to SFB departs at 9:40 a.m. and arrives at 12:05 p.m. Return service will depart SFB at 3:55 p.m. and arrive at BWI at 6:20 p.m. In addition to Baltimore-Washington, Orlando Sanford International Airport also offers scheduled flights on Pan Am to Allentown, PA; Bangor, ME; Boston / Worcester, MA; Chicago / Gary, IN; New England / Portsmouth, NH; and San Juan, Puerto Rico.
    All scheduled service will use Pan Am's Boeing 727-200 reconfigured Clipper Class aircraft, which have had the total number of seats reduced from 173 to 149, providing more space, comfort, and increased legroom.     Orlando Sanford International Airport is located near the Orlando attractions and is also convenient to Daytona Beach.
