ArvinMeritor Ups Wilkinson

TROY, Mich., Dec. 5 -- ArvinMeritor Inc. announced that Bonnie Wilkinson has been appointed vice president and secretary, effective immediately. With more than 20 years of legal experience, Wilkinson began her career at ArvinMeritor in 1997 as assistant general counsel. Prior to joining ArvinMeritor, Wilkinson was an assistant director of the Division of Investment Management at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in Washington, D.C. Before joining the SEC, she was a partner at the law firm of Reid & Priest (now Thelen Reid & Priest), in New York. "Bonnie brings a wealth of insight and experience to the position," said Vernon Baker, senior vice president, general counsel, for ArvinMeritor. "She has excelled at handling general corporate and securities matters, and taking on the role of corporate secretary is a natural progression. Wilkinson holds a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Vassar College, a master's degree in library and information science from the University of Michigan, and a juris doctorate from Fordham University Law School.
