NEXIQ Technologies Selects XATA Corporation as the First Distributor of ePod

    STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich.--Dec. 4, 2001--NEXIQ Technologies (OTCBB: NEXQ) today announced that XATA Corporation , a leading supplier of onboard computing systems for transportation companies, has teamed with the Company to be the first distributor of ePOD (Electronic Proof of Delivery).
    ePOD is a Palm OS, wireless and Web-based electronic proof of delivery application ideally suited for delivery-based companies looking to compliment or extend existing routing and order systems. ePOD enables route managers and customer service representatives to automate delivery processes through advanced services, such as signature capture, delivery tracking on the Web as well as viewing route activity, order status and delivery details. ePOD is a flexible software solution that can be customized to meet specific customer requirements.
    As a result of the agreement, XATA will begin immediate distribution of ePOD to the pick-up and delivery transportation markets. XATA will offer ePOD as part of its new XataNet(TM) product suite throughout North America.
