Hyundai's Record Sales Continue; November Sales Set Tenth Consecutive Record
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Dec. 3 -- Hyundai Motor America today announced record sales of 27,299 vehicles for the month of November, up 53 percent over the previous year and the tenth consecutive record sales month in the U.S.
``Our sales momentum continues, led by the Santa Fe sport utility vehicle and the redesigned 2002 Sonata,'' said Hyundai's Vice President of Sales, Robert Cosmai. ``There are three basic factors driving Hyundai's sales growth,'' Cosmai explained. ``First is our consistent marketing message, building the Hyundai brand and reinforcing the Hyundai value story as a 'smart buy' in each market segment. Second is our focused dealer organization and, of course, there is The Hyundai Advantage, America's Best Warranty, featuring 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain protection.''
