Addtech Group Acquires Sweden's Alligator

    SOLNA, Sweden--Dec. 3, 2001--Adiator AB, part of business area Addtech Component Systems, has concluded an agreement to acquire the business in Alligator International Trading AB for the purpose of increasing the Group's growth in the automotive segment.
    Alligator is today primarily active in the areas of automotive climate control and electronics cooling. Among the larger customers are Volvo, Saab, Scania, Siemens and Ericsson. Net revenues amount to about MSEK 30. In addition hereto, the company has commission sales of about MSEK 300.
    This acquisition strengthens Addtech's present business in the automotive segment. Addtech's position as a strong automotive partner with niche competence is expected to offer opportunities of expanding the business concept in Europe.
    Going forward, the business will be conducted in Stockholm and Solvesborg. President and responsible for the initiative will be Tommy Haglund.
