Audi Reports Sales for November - The All-New A4 Is Selling Briskly in First Sales Month
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 2 -- Audi of America, Inc. today announced November sales of 6,253. Compared to last year's all-time record November of 6,556, this represents a percentage decline of 4.6.
With November's numbers, Audi's total year-to-date sales continue on a record-breaking pace in 2001 and are up 4.3 percent at an eleven-month total of 76,065 versus the same period in 2000 when sales were 72,932.
Audi's important all-new A4 model, which just went on sale in the U.S. this past month, enjoyed sales of 3,271-an increase of 18.8 percent over last year's mark of 2,754. The A4 is Audi best-selling model in America.
Sales by model: -- The Audi TT reported 775 units sold versus 1,083 units in November 2000. -- The Audi A4 sold 3,271 versus 2,754 for the same month last year. November represented the introduction of the all-new 2002 A4. -- The A6 posted 1,643 for the month versus 2,118. -- The allroad quattro sold 395 for the month versus 441 in November 2000. -- Audi's all-aluminum flagship A8 reported total sales of 169 versus 160 in November 2000.
