DETROIT -- November 28--It is reported that demand for new cars and trucks is exceeding industry expectations even after a torrid October and despite a cloudy economic outlook. Major automakers plan to release November sales results Monday and analysts expect another robust month. Many induxtry experts see the possibility of an 18 million unit sales year for 2001 making it the second biggest new vehicle sales year ever.
