Lehmer's Jeep GMC and Oldsmobile Adopts Mobile Sales System
WHIPPANY, N.J. and CONCORD, Calif.--Nov. 28, 2001--DealerAdvance's Pioneering Technology Brings
65-Year-Old Dealership Beyond Zero Percent Financing
Lehmer's Jeep, GMC and Oldsmobile in Concord, Calif., has adopted Stronghold Technologies' DealerAdvance(TM) mobile sales system, bringing innovative technology to the 65-year-old dealership which prides itself on a long-standing tradition of personalized customer service.
Steve Haworth, general manager of Lehmer's, a family-owned dealership founded in 1936, said he is equipping his sales force with DealerAdvance because the mobile application gives his dealership a competitive advantage by increasing sales productivity, shortening the sales cycle and providing consumers with a wide range of information.
"With DealerAdvance, Lehmer's is capturing information on 85 percent of our customer prospects. As a result, our sales staff is able to follow up on customers who do not make a purchase during their first visit, with 45 percent of these customers returning to buy cars," said Haworth. "In addition, the use of DealerAdvance will also position Lehmer's to achieve peak sales performance beyond GM and DaimlerChrysler zero percent financing incentives."
DealerAdvance, Stronghold Technologies' groundbreaking mobile application, uses wireless, handheld devices that have the memory and processing power of a PC, to store, manage and distribute information in real time.
"Lehmer's is successfully combining its old-fashioned sales traditions with DealerAdvance technology to deliver optimum performance in sales performance and customer service," said Chris Carey, CEO and president of Stronghold Technologies.
"DealerAdvance gives us the ability to align our business functions, customer relations and sales processes with a technology that is easy to use and keeps us connected to consumers," said Haworth.
Sales consultants use DealerAdvance to gather customer needs and contact data electronically; check new and used car inventory; register customers into the dealership's database for follow-up; and issue reports of all customer information and product queries on the spot. Stronghold Technologies runs the DealerAdvance application through Compaq iPAQs.
