News from Kenworth: Ross and Tobin Promoted

NEWS RELEASE


KIRKLAND, Wash., Nov. 26, 2001 - Kenworth Truck Company has promoted Victor
Ross to division controller and John Tobin to assistant division controller
at its Kirkland, Wash. headquarters.

Ross most recently was Kenworth assistant division controller. He first
joined the PACCAR organization in 1989 and has served in various key
controller positions throughout the corporation. Prior to joining PACCAR,
Victor spent eight years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen.

Ross is a graduate of Boise State University, attended the Northwestern
University Executive Development Program and is a CPA.

Tobin most recently served as plant controller for PACCAR's Peterbilt
manufacturing facility in Madison, Tenn. He first joined the PACCAR
organization in 1993 and also has served in various key accounting
positions. Prior to joining PACCAR, he was an accounting manager with Squire
Shops, Inc. and a senior auditor with Deloitte & Touche in Seattle.

Tobin has an accounting degree from the University of Puget Sound and an MBA
from the University of Phoenix.  He also is a CPA.
