Unique G 55 354 HP AMG

Affalterbach, 11/2001 - Mercedes-AMG recently produced a remarkable one-of-a-kind vehicle — a Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG with an extra long wheelbase. The vehicle, which was tuned at the express wish of a customer, was lengthened by 22.8 inches to a total of 17.2 feet. Although only a single unit of the car has been produced thus far, the lengthened AMG G-Class will soon be produced as a limited edition vehicle as well. AMG currently offers three versions of the SUV: a top-of-the-line vehicle powered by a 354 hp V8 engine, a variant equipped with a 296 hp engine, and the G 400 CDI with 250 hp.
