Deborah Wahl Meyer Joins Toyota As Mgr.Corporate Communications...Hey Debbie The Auto Channel Can really help Toyota Sell Cars, Call Anytime!!

TORRANCE, Calif., Nov. 19 -- Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. announced today that Deborah Wahl Meyer will be joining the company in the newly created position of Corporate Manager, Marketing Communications.

The position was created to manage advertising and internet commerce for the company's 18 models of cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles. Wahl Meyer will be working with a number of Toyota's advertising agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Hispanic agency, Conill Advertising, and the recently announced African American agency, Burrell Communications.

``Toyota is proud to welcome Deborah to our marketing team,'' said Steve Sturm, TMS vice president, marketing. ``Deborah's strong credentials as an award-winning advertising professional, as well as her proven track record will be great assets as we develop future marketing strategies.''

Wahl Meyer was named one of the 100 most influential women in the automotive industry by Automotive News and has also been inducted into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Advertising Achievement.

Wahl Meyer is a graduate of The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, The Joseph Lauder Institute of International Studies in Paris, France, and Wellesley College.

Prior to joining Toyota, Wahl Meyer spent a number of years developing brand and marketing strategy for various automotive nameplates.
