NEC Rittmueller Vice President of Automotive Electronics

    SACRAMENTO, Calif.--Nov. 16, 2001--

Rittmueller, Former Vice President of Sales and Marketing for NEC Technologies, to Lead Automotive Electronics Division

    NEC Technologies today named Phil Rittmueller as vice president of Automotive Electronics, and announced that current vice president of Automotive Electronics Division, Scott Onuki, will retire. Onuki will continue to serve as an executive advisor to the Automotive Electronics Division at NEC Technologies.

"His impressive achievements during his 15 years with NEC prove his ability to continue driving NEC's Automotive Electronics Division forward to successfully meet our goals. I wish Scott a happy, well-earned retirement and thank him for all his contributions and hard work during his many years with NEC Technologies and NEC Corp."
    Rittmueller has more than 32 years of industry experience, most recently serving as vice president of sales and marketing for the Automotive Electronics Division of NEC Technologies. Prior to joining NEC, Rittmeuller held new product business development and marketing and sales positions with both Alpine Electronics and Jensen International. He is a member of Society of Automotive Engineering, American Marketing Association, New Product Development Association, and IEEE.
    Rittmueller holds a master's degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
